Class Schedule for 2011! Our semi-private classes are SMALL in size and BIG in personal instruction! We provide a variety of classes to cover all your fitness needs and interests.Please contact Physical Focus to reserve a spot. Class size is limited and non-members are welcome! All classes will be conducted upstairs and you may pick and choose whatever class or classes you'd like to attend each week or month. Class Details
Strength & Cardio Class: This class will focus on both your cardiovascular and physical shape. We will incorporate functional movements, strength movements and cardiovascular exercise to fill the hour with every tool your body needs to perform at it's maximum potential. The class will be designed for the beginner and intermediate client that is looking for a motivated group of individuals to help each other accomplish their weekly workouts.
Pilates Mat: This class will strengthen and stabilize the core, while increasing the flexibility, strength and functional mobility of your joints. A terrific way to counteract the natural effects of aging and poor posture, it compliments all types of fitness programs. For the general population, the core strength, posture and mobility gained from Pilates will enable the safe execution of every day activities. For athletes, amateur and professional, Pilates will make the core strong and stable to handle the large forces generated by the legs and arms during their sport.
Multi-Level Yoga: Multi level Yoga with an emphasis on alignment and breath. Improve flexibility, increase strength, and free your mind while learning how to move better. Learn to move with clarity and grace both on and off the mat.
Movement & Core Conditioning Class: This group class is focused on developing fundamental movement patterns, core stability and overall functional strength. Mat work, resistance bands and body weight are used throughout this fun and dynamic full body exercise class. Non-members of Montecito Country Club and All Physical Focus Members are welcome! Class is held in a beautiful private room at MCC.
